Our youth ministry is lead by two couples, Mark & Carina Lasko and Dan & Mary Champ. These two couples have a true heart for the young people of our church and our community. Our church has developed a specific ministry for the spiritual enrichment of our young people grades 7-12. Our goals are to evangelize this age group and see those evangelized proceed in service for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Every Sunday morning at 9:30 our youth ministry meets in their own Sunday School class dealing with lessons that each teen can apply to their own life.
Every Wednesday evening during the Prayer Service (7:00 p.m.), we meet upstairs in the mezzanine for a time of fellowship, a lesson and prayer. We believe through the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word that His Word will not return void. We believe balance is the key to spiritual victory especially in the life of a teenager.
Each month, our teens enjoy several activities which include rollerskating, ice skating, bowling, Word of Life's SuperBowl, and retreats. We also balance their lives with ministry projects such as ministering at the nursing homes in our area.
