The men of Middletown Baptist Church have a number of fellowship times throughout the year. These are great opportunities to get to know new people, as well as getting better acquainted with those we see in the services each week.

Men's Prayer Breakfasts are held every other month during the school year. These are a great time of delicious home-cooked food, fellowship, devotional, and prayer. These are hosted in our members' homes, and give different families a chance to minister.

We look forward to certain annual events: our Father/Son picnic and Blue Rocks' game, deep-sea fishing expedition, and softball season (which runs from late March until late June).

We adapt our fellowship activities and times as needed. We acknowledge God's design for our men to be leaders of their homes, occupations, and in their neighborhood. We consider it a privilege to minister to each of our men!

Our Men's Ministry includes a softball team which competes in the Fundamental Church Softball League. This league consists of 19 teams from churches in New Castle County. It is open to men, 15 years of age or older, of any skill level. This ministry, which started in 1990, has always emphasized fellowship first, winning second. To God's glory, we have won Division titles, in 1994 and 1996, but more importantly we have captured the Christian Character Award in 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2005. This award, voted on by the managers of the league, is annually given to the team that displays the most Christ-like spirit during the heat of competition. Our softball team's coach is Mr. John Gula.
