Our ladies have a vibrant ministry within our church. Throughout the year we try to have various types of ladies' activities. One of our favorites, is our Ladies' Teas. These are a great time of fun, food, and fellowship, but we also have a wonderful time of prayer and devotional.
Some of our activities include a weekend get-away... usually in November or March, our annual Mother/Daughter luncheon which is held on the Saturday before Mother's Day, shopping trips, and hosting the Eastern Shore Preachers' Fellowship once a year. We have a spring cleaning for the church each year, as well.
We have the opportunity to minister to others by making meals for those who are recovering from surgery, or providing the meal following a funeral service. We also get to work in the nursery (for ages 0 - 2) and in pre-school classes (for ages 2 - 5), so that mothers may worship.
We are always looking for those who are willing to open their home for visiting missionaries, evangelists, and singing groups. We encourage those with different talents to use them to the glory of
God. Several areas of service: photography, music, teaching, maintaining church scrap books, decorators for different events, and banquet helpers and coordinators are always given a chance to display their talents.
Our annual
Camp of the Ultimate Weapon is always needing lady counselors. What a great time we have each year with the campers! This camp is held in August, and we would love to have you plan on being with us next year!
