We have a delightful couple, Carlos and Mariluz Gentile, in our church excited about starting a Hispanic ministry. Currently they teach a Spanish Sunday School class during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School time. Below is a little bit of their testimony.
" We joined Middletown Baptist Church three years ago and we found a family that makes us feel at home and is committed to reach out to others. We prayed and feel that we need to reach out and share our Spanish heritage. Mariluz is from Colombia and I am from Argentina. We have two children, John and Rachel and are expecting our third child. We are very thankful for the opportunity our Pastor Lasko gave us to begin this ministry in the Sunday School class.
Our prayer and commitment is to communicate the message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hope to see you in Sunday School this week."
We have seen a lot of growth and excitement in this ministry.
